Platforms Two, Three and Four circa 1900

After the extension of the line to Skipton in 1888 the station became busier – with departures and arrivals to and from places to the west as well as the east.

A general view of the station, taken from Platform One and looking across towards Platforms Two, Three and Four shows passengers awaiting their train under the glazed roof.
