The results of this report highlighted an ill-thought through public space which lacked basic facilities and was aesthetically incohesive.

With the station being such a hub for both local commuters and visitors alike, the report concluded that its current ‘scruffy’ state could be significantly improved to befit a station for a town voted ‘Best Place to live in the UK’.
