FOIRS raise money for Candlelighters charity after successful Music and Singing event on the station.

After a successful fundraising event on the station, FOIRS presented Candlelighters with a cheque for monies raised.

Becky Marren from Candlelighters said;

‘We are so grateful for the support of Friends of Ilkley Rail Station in raising such a fantastic total which will help to support children and their families. We receive no government funding, and rely entirely on the generous support of the community to provide our vital services, so to see people coming together like this and make a real difference to our families is heart-warming.’
